Our Charity Work

Wheelie Good Mobility is not just a mobility retailer. We have a couple of beliefs:

·       If you’re a business owner, then you have a duty of care to your community.

·       We are role models and demonstrating corporate responsibility is easily forgotten.

·       We are the ones who can change this world – by operating greener, cleaner

·       Pay back some of the goodwill we’ve received whilst getting to where we are now.

Therefore, Wheelie Good Mobility loves to help charities by attending events and getting involved with initiatives, such as The Prince’s Trust and The Kent Foundation.

“Opportunities through London 2012 and Sustainability”

Charmaine attended a wonderful morning listening to a seminar on sustainability and how we can operate greener. Second part was on the Olympics and how local companies can make bids to supply the games. A very good seminar, much was learned.

Guest speaker was Olympic Gold Medallist Mark Foster. Mark is a 5 times Olympian, 6 times world champion, 2 times commonwealth champion, 10 times European champion and 8 times world record holder and gave a first hand account of his Olympic story.

Photographs were taken with Mark for donations for Demelza House Charity.

Demelza House is a wonderful charity offering hospice care for children across the southeast. It must be truly terrible to have to go through something like that, and we believe the guys and girls there do a fantastic job, making it a little easier for all.
