We are big fans of the Lugano as it truly is an ideal powerchair for all users. It has a captain’s seat, a long foot plate for taller people and adjustable armrests for wider people! The seat is padded and comfortable and upholstered in wipe-able vinyl. The Lugano has excellent engineering and has articulating front and rear wheel axes which helps to achieve a more comfortable ride. There is direct access to the battery and a free wheel mechanism. This powerchair is designed in easy to dismantle sections which makes it ideal for transporting or storing, but like most powerchairs, the base is rather heavy to lift, so you may need a ramp to push it into a car. The seat base is height and angle adjustable, and the padded arms are height and width adjustable.
