The Roma Heavy Duty Transit Wheelchair has detachable arms and swing away footrests for added convenience. There is an upholstered Nylon seat and back that are flame retardant and the armrests are padded. The pneumatic rear wheels are 30cm (12”) wide and the front solid tyre swivel castors are 20cm (8”). It features cable brakes so the driver can feel confident on downward slopes. The front castors are puncture proof and the rear wheels are pneumatic for a smoother ride.
This wheelchair has a double cross brace for extra strength and dual axles. As the arms are detachable, it is easy to transfer on to. There is an elevating legrest available for an additional cost, please call us regarding this.
