KEIBA Awards 2010

The Kent Excellence in Business Awards is by the Kent Messenger Group and Kent County Council, Kent Foundation and Skanska, I was fortunate to be chosen as 2010 'Young Entrepreneur of the Year'. I dedicated the award to my

parents for 'not only putting up with Wheelie Good, but for putting up with me for 27 years!' and with my dad, Bob, working so hard for Wheelie Good - I share it with him.

Personal video of my win is below, I was completely in shock. My competition was fierce, and I had made my peace with being a runner-up. Dan Maudhub was already nominated for three awards and had already won one and Kate Blyth's Chocolate Deli is a fantastic concept - so I was sure I wasn't a winner. Plus, I had no idea of the cheque as no-one else got awarded money! I'm pleased as punch and give my thanks to Skanska and The Kent Foundation.
